The 2026 Desafío Ruta 40 YPF has been awarded FIA Environmental Accreditation

+Eventos, the organiser of the third round of the World Rally Raid Championship (W2RC), has formally received a two-star environmental accreditation from the FIA thanks to its commitment to and compliance with the environmental requirements established at international level by the governing body of motorsport.

Following a detailed review of the Desafío Ruta 40, which will take place from May 24 to 29 in San Juan-San Rafael-San Juan, the organisation’s commitment to environmental policy, management review, SMART objectives and applicable operational controls was demonstrated.

The FIA Environmental Accreditation Programme aims to help stakeholders in motorsport and mobility around the world assess and improve their environmental performance.

The 13th edition of DR40 will bring together the leading international figures in rallies on a challenging and spectacular route, traversing some of Argentina’s most breathtaking landscapes. With a Prologue and five demanding stages, the race has established itself as one of the most significant sporting events on the season and as a key event for the international motorsports community in the region.
