Rostan and Semino consolidate in the Road To Dakar

After stage 3 of Desafío Ruta 40 YPF Challenge, Santiago Rostan and Juan José Semino continue leading the Road To Dakar Challenge, for a ticket to Dakar 2024.

In Bikes, Rostan from Pampa Rental Rally Team, is the leader after finishing the Belén – Belén loop with 265km of timed sector in 3h40m58s. In the overall, he is now leading with 12h55m45s and is ahead Fabián Von Thüngen by just over an hour and a half. The Paraguayan Rolando Martinez of Xraids Experience is third in this race in search of Dakar 2024, almost two hours behind.

In the Car category, the crew Juan José Semino – Gonzalo Oltra from Xcorpion Rally Racing continues leading in their T4. Their time in Stage 3 in Belén was 4h8m13s with an overall time so far of 12h47m17s. They are followed by Diego Blas López – Victor Silva Moroso, who after stage 3, were 2h14m27s behind.

There are 2 stages left, one in Belén and the final one to get to Salta. Desafío Ruta 40 is very tough and anything can happen in the remainder stages, but the Road To Dakar is going on in Catamarca.
