GONZÁLEZ FERIOLI, DEBELJUH AND ROSTAN STARTED WELL AHEAD IN THE OPEN CATEGORY
Desafío Ruta 40 YPF started for the Open category, for Cars, Bikes and Quads. They started from the Bivouac at Superdomo in La Rioja city, and after covering the 697 Km of Stage 1 (334 of Special Stage), they made their way back to the bivouac.
In cars, the winner was Jeremías Gonzalez Ferioli (Ferioli Racing Team), who completed the stage in 3Hs19m10s. The second place, 11:30 behind, was for Blas Zapag (Copetrol Rally) and the third place for Diego Blas López (GM Motorsport) 20:19 behind.

In bikes, Joaquin Debeljuh (RVM Rally Team) won the stage, Juan Cruz Carrizo (JC Electricidad SA) was the runner-up, 8:59 behind, and Brazilian rider Rodrigo de Abreu Sallum (MED Racing) in third place, 17:12 behind.
In Open Quads, Santiago Rostan (Pampa Rental Rally Team) clocked the best time while Matías Innocente (Corrientes Dakar Team) arrived in second place.
