González Ferioli and Debeljuh arrive as leaders to the last day

The Open category, for cars and bikes, finished the 4th stage of this Desafío Ruta 40 YPF.

In the cars category, Jeremías González Ferioli won the stage again with a time of 3h25m02s and stretched the lead in the Overall. The second to arrive was Chilean Rodrigo Caballero, 5m37s behind the leader. Caballero’s co-driver is Argentinean Nicolás Bollero. González Ferioli continues to lead the Overall, but with this stage victory the gap is now 50m32s over Caballero.

Joaquin Debeljuh (RVM Rally Team) won the Stage in bikes again with a total time of 4h14m56s, beating Belén’s credit, Marcio Yampa, by 11m40s. In third place, after 345 km of timed section, was Brazilian Rodrigo De Abreu Sallum (MED Racing Team), who finished 26m46s behind the leader. Now in the overall classification, Debeljuh stretched the gap to 52m48s from his runner-up, Marcio Yampa, and De Abreu Sallum follows in third place 1h22m08s behind.

There is one more stage ahead, Belén – Salta, to complete this Desafío Ruta 40 YPF, but anything can happen and we will wait and see who the winners of the Open category are, after the final 258 km of race tomorrow.
