CARLOS LLIBRE ON THE DESAFÍO RUTA 40 TO MAKE A DREAM COME TRUE

Spanish rider Carlos Llibre arrives at the Desafío Ruta 40 YPF with the dream of finishing, as the only condition to be able to qualify for the Dakar 2024. But the trip didn’t start off easy. His suitcase with all his equipment was lost, so he had to go through the scrutineering with equipment borrowed from other teams and riders. His own equipment arrived after the prologue, so he had to homologate it for the first stage on Monday.

«The All1 project is a project of 7 riders who all qualified for the Dakar, except for me. I crashed in Morocco and couldn’t finish. The Dakar organisers are asking me to finish a race so that I can take part of 2024 Dakar and  in that way fulfil the dream of my late brother. I chose that Rally to be Argentina and the Desafío Ruta 40 because of my passion for this country», the rider of the Gas Gas RX 450 Replica of the Xraids Experience team said.

All1 is a project that was born after the death of Carlos’ twin brother in a motorbike accident in Madrid, and after that, he inherited a bucket list to be fulfilled one of which was to participate in a Dakar as objective number 1.
