A stunning route for Desafío Ruta 40

The 12th edition of Desafío Ruta 40, which will be held from June 1 to 7, 2024 and will be part of the World Rally Raid Championship (W2RC), will have an unprecedented route. Córdoba will host the start and finish. The provinces of San Juan and La Rioja will also be part of the route.

Córdoba-San Juan-La Rioja-Córdoba will be the route to follow for the teams taking part in this new edition of Desafío Ruta 40. The competition will arrive in Córdoba for the first time, where the Scrutineering, Prologue, Start Ceremony and the first stage (Córdoba-Córdoba) will take place. 

Then, the rally caravan will move to a province with a great history in this competition: San Juan. The land of the sun and Zonda wind will welcome the race again after six years to the delight of the fans.

Afterwards, the race will head -as it did in 2023- to the province of La Rioja in its last stage before going back to Córdoba for a great closing.

Undoubtedly, it will be a mind-blowing journey both for the competitors and for the Argentinean fans, who will surely flock to watch the best riders and drivers in the world. It will be a magnificent sporting event, consolidating its position as one of the most outstanding international rally-raid races in the world.
