Desafío Ruta 40 adds an innovative proposal designed for bikes and adventure lovers: Maxi Trail Amateur Experience, an exclusive and limited experience. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an amateur caravan and accompany South America’s most exciting Rally Raid competition from the inside.

The initiative is aimed at those who have an off-road motorcycle and the adventurous spirit necessary to travel some of the most challenging roads in the country. Throughout an unforgettable week-long journey, those who sign up for this experience will be able to experience Desafío Ruta 40 from a different perspective, following the race route from within the rally and enjoying direct contact with nature and the Argentine desert. The experience will benefit from the ongoing advice of Javier Pizzolito, one of the leading figures in national rally raids. The Pinamar-born rider has extensive experience in the discipline, having competed seven times in Dakar Rally and achieved the milestone of being the first Argentine to finish in the Top 10 of the Bike category in the most demanding competition on the planet.

A two-time winner of the Desafío Ruta 40 (2011 and 2014) and five-time Argentine Rally Raid champion, Pizzolito will put all his experience at the service of the caravan members, providing guidance, advice and support so that participants can discover the secrets of the desert and enjoy this adventure safely.

Desafío Ruta 40 will take place from May 24-29, with a route linking San Juan – San Rafael (Mendoza) – San Juan, once again consolidating the event as one of the most iconic competitions on the South American rally raid calendar.
