2026 Desafio Ruta 40 was presented in Morocco

The Sporting Director and Organiser of Desafio Ruta 40, Pablo Eli, officially presented next edition of the race during the Rally du Moroc, an event that marked the end of the 2025 World Rally Raid Championship (W2RC) season.

The Argentine competition, which will take place from May 24-29, 2026, was presented to team managers and representatives of the main international teams, who received detailed information about the characteristics of the race and the preparations for a new edition that promises to be one of the most challenging on next year’s calendar.

In this way, the Desafío Ruta 40 reaffirms its place, marking a grand return to the international stage as one of the most awaited rounds of the W2RC, combining sporting challenges with unique landscapes and all the passion of the Argentine fans.

Registration for FIA and FIM competitions will open on 1 December, kicking off the journey towards a new edition that will once again bring together adventure, passion and the spirit of rally -raid in Argentina’s most spectacular locations.
